The goverment cant have anyone above a certian IQ because they want everyone to relay purely on them so they cant out smart and over throw the goverment. so when Dickie gets a high score they have to kill him before he gets any smarter. as in this quote"‘You may specify by telephone,’ the voice droned on, ‘whether you wish his body interred by the Government, or would you prefer a private burial place? The fee for Government burial is ten dollars."(Examination Day) which shows that he (dickie)was killed for having a high IQ. -Ash record
