First version

I don’t remember when I actually learned how to write, but I believe it was when I was around 5 years old. In English, however, it was throughout my exchange in Canada, in my English classes. My most memorable experience was during our final writing activity, which the teacher asked us to write a text about a childhood memory. I was (and still am) very self-conscious about my English, and I was very insecure about my final text, but when I got the result my teacher gave me a 10/10 and complimented my writing skills. I was extremely proud of myself; it was for sure one of the most important moments of my exchange.

6. Write for yourself

Every year I buy a small notebook, like an agenda, and I use it to write down every kinds of things: thoughts, ideas for drawings, shopping lists, to do lists, quotes from movies/series/books. Sometimes when I'm not feeling good, I write down everything that I'm feeling, things I don't feel comfortable talking about, but find a lot easier to write. I love to read them when the year it's over, revisit all those memories and see how things have changed.
