It outlines the conditions under which a supervisor of a child care centre can be counted towards the staff-to-child ratios required by regulations. Specifically, if fewer than five full-time employees are needed to meet the ratios, the supervisor can be counted as a full-time employee. If five or six full-time employees are required, a full-time supervisor may be counted as a full-time employee for up to half the time a full-time employee is required to be on staff. However, if seven or more full-time employees are needed, the supervisor cannot be counted towards the ratios.
