Activity and Warmth

When I first arrived in January/ Feb I observed that their was a warmth between people. Since being a member of the church I see they have quite a number of things happening, homeless, Wed group, Grounded youth group, children’s groups in church. Also since Rev Dave started now 2 prayer groups in the mornings Tue and Thur, and a monthly prayer and worship on Sunday.

Light in the Area

This is a very diverse area and Harlesden is up the road, What if the church could tap into this?

How can it be a light in the area, How can it reach the young adolescent, use the elders in the church for the youth, be a light?

Not exactly sure I do not believe I have had anything specific for St M but I have an impression on my heart that as an ecclesia we need to have a strong foundation of prayer, fasting and bible.

This is not about necessary St. Marks, but before lock down I did attend 24/7 prayer on a Friday to Saturday and I got various pictures of the church, one was dry bones this has not gone away. There was something beautiful at the end of this but the response to the dryness was pray, fasting and worship. As I said I do not have anything specific for St. Marks

A beacon drawing people in

A picture was given at our November Prayer Meeting. The church was like a warm beacon on a cold night with people being drawn in to be together by the side of the fire

Sparks causing a fire (in a good way!)

A picture was given of small sparks coming from a small group, but the sparks were moved by the wind and set alight a ripe field so the flame spread far and wide

A picture was given in a September Prayer meeting of a large group of boats going across a sea, and a fog descended and then only one was left. Interpretation was given that this might relate to God drawing us on deeper where others may not want to go

Seeds growing, harvest coming

At the YWAM summer praise night, a picture was offered that seeds have been planted and they are now growing and harvest will come

Step out in community

St . Marks does quite a bit in the community and I believe this is what it is also called to do, but also to step out and be more of a light in the community. To step out like Peter did in scripture on the water Matt 14:22-33
