Este is masculine, esta is feminine, and esto is unsure.

Ese or ahí are used for object fatrher away, but not too far.
Ese is masculine, esa is feminine, and eso is unsure.

Aquell or allí are used for very far objects. Aquell is masculine or unsure, and Aquella is feminie.
