If you express your talent through literature, you can participate in Palabras que Cuentan, the annual poetry and narrative contest that includes publication in a special volume of the winning works for each edition of the contest.

For high school, professional or postgraduate students, who show that they are currently working and that they study in the night shift.

The Ministry of National defense gives children of military service parents a 100% Scholarship in their studies

Types of Scholarships:

1. Talent Scholarship, which is awarded to students that excel in the following areas: 

For Talent Scolarships, APS offers scholarships of 60%, 40%, 20% and 10% of the total cost of the monthly high school tuition.

2. Economic Scholarships, which supports students with good school performance in high school and who require financial support. APS offers scholarships of 10% to 50% of the total cost of the monthly high school tuition.

Applicants will be classified, from highest to lowest score, based on the following criteria:

Sports Activities: Sports activities contribute to develop discipline, commitment, competitiveness, passion and the ability to work as a team. In this area we offer sports classes, intramural tournaments, and if you are part of a representative team, you can participate in national and international competitions representing the Prepa Tec and your country.

Cultural Activities: Participation in cultural activities promotes your appreciation of culture through various artistic and recreational activities, such as art classes and workshops, exhibitions, theatrical productions and musical presentations. Likewise, institutional events are held at the national level where your role is the most important.

Social Training: Your participation develops your social responsibility, community commitment and sense of citizenship. Every activity you participate in represents an opportunity to become an agent of positive change for the community.

Professional Accentuation: Through certificate programs that link high school curriculum subjects with advanced professional level content, they strengthen your vocation for a specific professional area under the guidance of specialized teachers in the subject

This scholarship helps students who have the necessary habilites to be in Prepa Tec but can’t pay the cost of the it. The characteristics of this scholarship include that it applies to new students and current students, the percentage to be awarded depends on the family's financial need, the maximum percentage to be granted is 40% of the scholarship on the cost of tuition, it allows to study summers, overload of subjects and exchange and the number of socio-economic scholarships to grant is limited. The requirements are : 

- Have a cumulative average equal to or greater than 85/100, at the time of admission for new students and for current students accumulated semesters completed. 

- Obtain at least 1050 points in the latest edition of the Academic Aptitude Test (PAA). Does not apply to current students. 

- Be admitted student 

- Demonstrate economic need. 

Athletic Talent Scholarship: 

The Athletic Talent Scholarship is designed for students who are distinguished nationally or internationally in the athletic area, who want to study high school and perform the sport they are most passionate about. The admissions are made once a year and the availability of scholarships depends of the campus. You can only register to a campus to take the Student Talent Tests. Some of the sports that are included are: athletics, soccer, animation groups, tennis, table tennis, TKD (combat), and athletics. 

Scholarship for Artistic Talent 

The Artistic Talent Scholarship is designed for students who are distinguished nationally or internationally in the artistic area, who want to study high school and perform the artistic activity they are most passionate about. 

As in the Athletic Talent Scholarship the admissions are once a year and the availability depends on each campus. You can only register to a campus to perform artistic talent tests. Some of the different areas are music, dance, acting, singing, and theater music.

Scholarship to Academic Talent 

This scholarship is for students who regardless their economic situation have shown discipline and continuous effort while studying. Some of the benefits are: 

For having this scholarship you need to have a academic average greater than 90, and obtain at least 1200 points in the latest edition of the Academic Aptitude.
