After that, they needed to aboard a ferry, that was very big, so big that it was able to take most Syrian immigrants. The first circumstance, was when, after they've arrived to Havana, Cuba didn't let anybody in, they weren't allowing refugees anymore which made everyone angrier and desperate to find a new place where to go. That's why, the captain said that he was going to try to get into the United States for better opportunities, although he wasn't sure it was going to work out, which made their next destination more unknown. In spite of that, Josef's father was staying in a hospital due to his actions, and even if Josef wanted to go back with him, he couldn't.
