After the Second war ended, They had a peace treaty for about 50 years until Carthage had gained a lot of power back they Romans had to stop this by attacking them in 149 B.C Which caused the third Punic War, And Hannibal is no longer a a General of Carthage's Army, Which caused the Romans to easily take over the Carthaginian Republic. Had spread salt into its fields so nothing could grow from the fields of the Carthaginian Fields to become powerful again, They had killed the citizens or sold them into slavery. Which is causing the third war to end in 3 years in 146 B.C
