I graduated with a BEd and a minor in Social Justice in Education from Simon Fraser University (SFU). Previously, I completed my undergraduate degree at SFU in Bachelor of General Studies with minors in Early Learning, Learning and Developmental Disabilities, and Curriculum and Instruction.

Teaching

I currently teach in a grade 5 classroom and grade 2/3 ADST in New Westminster in Metro Vancouver. I began teaching as a TTOC in January 2023, so this is my first full year of teaching.

Prior to teaching, I tutored children with reading disabilities and worked as a support aid for a child with non-verbal autism at a summer camp. I teach several autistic students in my grade 5 classroom, and as a TTOC, I encountered diagnosed and undiagnosed students daily.

Hobbies & Interests
