For an AI tool, I will be using ChatGPT. The topic I will be going over is ways to reduce morning sickness or strategies. Small, Frequent Meals: Eating smaller amounts more often can help stabilize blood sugar levels and reduce nausea.

Stay Hydrated: Sipping water or electrolyte drinks throughout the day can prevent dehydration.

Ginger: Consuming ginger tea, ginger ale, or ginger candies may alleviate nausea for some women.

Avoid Triggers: Identifying and avoiding foods or smells that trigger nausea can be helpful.

Vitamin B6: Some studies suggest that taking vitamin B6 supplements may reduce nausea. Always consult a healthcare provider first.

Rest and Relaxation: Taking breaks, reducing stress, and practicing relaxation techniques can help manage symptoms.

Fresh Air: Getting outside or ensuring good ventilation can sometimes help ease nausea.

Balanced Diet: Focusing on bland, easy-to-digest foods like crackers, toast, or bananas can be soothing.

Question # 3

In section 2.4 page 42 and 43, it talks mostly about morning sickness itself not how to get rid of it. For example the book says that morning sickness is nausea and vomiting. ChatGPT actually gave us ways to help with morning sickens. One thing it did say was to eat bread. ChatGPT did mention however to have a balanced diet and focus on vitamin B6 which can be similar in some ways. The difference is that chat gpt actually gave us things to do for pregnancy and the book gave us 2 things to avoid. One similarity is eating bread can relate to the diet or vitamin D. There wasn't really information on morning sickness like preventing.

Question #4

The source I will be using is St. Maarten Medical Center.

https://smmc.sx/News/ArticleID/109/What-are-the-advantages-and-disadvantages-of-breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding gives your baby all the vitamins and nutrients they need in those crucial first six months, but it also contains special substances that help keep them healthy and ward off illnesses.

Plus, breastfeeding is great for your baby's jaw development. Because it’s more challenging than using a bottle, it helps strengthen their jaw muscles as they feed. Some main advantages are : Decreases risks of SIDS, Breastfeeding protects your baby from infections and diseases, less chance of diarrhea and vomiting for your baby and ect...

The disadvantages are: There can be discomfort involved with breastfeeding. When you first start breastfeeding, you may experience sore nipples. For the entirety of your breastfeeding endeavors, your breasts may feel swollen or engorged. You may leak milk at times that are inconvenient or embarrassing. When the baby cries, you almost immediately start producing milk. If you aren’t prepared for this properly, it can be inconvenient or embarrassing, when you're in public it is so much harder to breastfeed on the spot, ect.

In chapter 3 page 77 there are some similarities between the site and the textbook. In the site and textbook they say that breastfeeding is better for the babies health. Another similarity is they both mentioned the same disadvantage. Breastfeeding in public is hard especially when there are people around or in a restaurant when people are eating and easily get uncomfortable.

I think the sourced I used is reliable because it is a medical center and it had almost the exact similarities and disadvantages in the book.

Robert Sternberg has 3 types of intelligence: Practical intelligence, creative intelligence, and analytical intelligence. A real word example is my job. I work in a pharmacy and it is a job that is expected to focus on speed and knowledge. We have something called QT and that is basically writing what you know about the medication and applying it to a new script and editing if there's something to be fixed. Something else is that we deal with is when a new insurance is needed for a patient you haven't dealt with yet is creative intelligence. A real word analytical intelligence is how I failed my first exam. I was taking a bio class and I failed the first exam below 60. The second exam I studied harder, worked harder and focused better and ended up getting a 91 on the exam which led to passing the class.

A book that I swear by and I use it for almost every assignment is The Freedom Writers diary. I think that book is the perfect book to read as a teen especially when you are looking for something more serious. That book has examples of what each person in that classroom deal with and I think it relates to emotional development. There is a move to it but I prefer the book because it gives more details and it seems more sincere. The whole book is just the experiences each teen go through.

This book is basically how it sounds. It is called girl talk. This book is about topics that relate to growing up that mentions puberty, and self image. I think this fits perfect with chapter 8 as it being about body image, puberty, and sexuality.

This was the first time I had to compare AI to a text book for a class. I honestly really enjoyed this assignment I think that It was something I'm not used to and it was really fun to put it all together. The information that I got from AI was valid. some points were also made in the sources I used and that was pretty cool to figure out. If needed for a class, I would love to do this type of work again.
