I've noticed that even the smallest kind gesture such as a smile and good morning really does make a difference. Showing kindness fosters good emotional ties and trust with new people. I get satisfaction from being nice towards people because I understand the enjoyment they get, knowing they might pass the kind act to someone else.

I've helped pick up litter. I always thought that if no ones going to pick it up then who will? Just pick up after yourself so birds don't think your gum is food or have your dog eat something odd while taking a walk. The smallest help can do wonders.

In the future I plan on volunteering my time at soup kitchens. helping those who cant feed themselves is just the way to go. Plus if I plan on doing it when I have kids, i can set the example of what a good human being can do.

I plan to hopefully educate those around me about the harms we could be causing to the planet. I also wish to reduce my carbon footprint- turning off lights and buying more reusable products to replace plastic.

I really like how you can visualize this quote. I suits the idea of spreading kindness because you literally lose nothing for being nice to others. Sometimes it might just be making another bowl of ramen or sometimes just picking up the phone, doing small gestures help influence those around you and just like the quote says, it wont dim your light.
