He united all the states in 1971 and with Ras Al Khaimah joining in 1972.</p><p><br/></p><p>In 2004, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan had passed away and was remembered as the “founding father”, as he had initiated the steps in uniting and transforming the country.</p><p><br/></p><p>In 2005, the UAE started becoming more modernized by participating politically with the help of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and had their first Federation National Council in the year 2006.</p>]]></description>

He later became the principal architect of the modern UAE and it's first president.</p><p><br></p><p>1966_ On 6 August 1966, a bloodless palace coup (Dhabyani coup d’état) took place in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. As a result of that Sheikh Shakhbut bin Sultan Al Nahyan was deposed. And Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan became Ruler of Abu Dhabi.</p><p><br></p><p>1971_ 1971 was the most pivotal political year in modern UAE history because the UAae got formed and Britains also got out from the region therefore On 2 December 1971, the United Arab Emirates was founded. </p><p><br></p><p>2004_ leadership transition </p><p>On 2 November 2004, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan died after serving as President of the UAE since its formation in 1971.
