A goal of mine is to become better at harnessing these strengths so they can feel successful in class. - Valini

Our classes are diverse places. This includes students who are learning english as a second language. It is here that I have seen simple things overlooked that could be done to create an inclusive classroom for these students. Educators can overlook how some of the things they are doing support to support those students whos strength is speaking can leave out those who are still learning those skills. I can recall supporting a class where the simple thing of allowing a student to have a device to help translate information and interact with other students was over looked.
