DEI should not be a slogan. It should be implemented dynamically and flexibly based on the situations in classrooms. We have many theoretical discussions, but I wonder if we could have a few scenarios related to teaching and analyze how DEI is/isn’t done well, so instructors can prepare and think about what can be done when they encounter those cases.
