         <description><![CDATA[<div>At DEN I am seeing more student to student interaction in a number of classes.&nbsp; I am seeing teachers provide students with manipulatives to create an opportunity to demonstration work in a variety of ways and develop number sense.<br><br><br>I am seeing more student to student engagement as well as the use of manipulative to allow for various ways of solving problems and development of number sense.&nbsp; I have not seen improvement in Student to self goals.&nbsp; They may be doing it, but I don't see additional or growing</div>]]></description>

         <title>I would love to see modeling and then practice.  My teachers thrive on models of how to do things.  So as DEN says &quot;respect, embrace and utilize different perspectives.&quot;  It would be nice to see how to do that PERSONALLY as a grade band team but also model how to help students do that.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Right now I am all about number 3, helping students to have voice and agency to intervene in their own learning.  We have an 18 minute advisory period where students have been using alex to supplement their in class learning.  We are also doing a zap program to ensure that students don't miss out on the tier 1 learning.  Zap time during lunch and after school for missing assignments.  Friday school is available for students to come and get extra help on assignments and Mark is offering tutoring after school for any students that need one on one help.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Teacher to Math task- I think this will look like teachers collaborating with each other to find the best tier 1 instruction for their students, coming back to the math task multiple times a day in different ways to solve problems.<br><br>Teacher to teacher- this looks like collaboration to me.&nbsp; In my school collaboration vertically is easy, we just talk in the hall or at lunch.&nbsp; But we need to work on collaboration with other teachers of the same grade.&nbsp; This could be a few minutes a week or a monthly meeting?<br><br>Teacher to self- Use the knowledge that you have to make what we are doing great.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My teachers have many visuals on their walls related to having a growth mindset around the idea that mistakes are okay, and are a common and necessary part of the learning process. I have also witnessed discussions with their students in class about the idea that mistakes are okay and that we can learn from them in our mathematical journey.&nbsp;<br>Students are also encouraged to use different ways to solve problems.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Advocate for everyone's voice to be heard, invest in their peers' growth and development.&nbsp;<br>- In weekly PLC meetings with the math department and teachers, I listen to every teacher of how they are working together to improve student learning with a semi-new program. We do have one new teacher in math and the team has worked tirelessly to make sure procedures are the same in all classes to build consistency for all students. I offer any assistance they may need and support all decisions they have made. Giving them the opportunity to create a math program that is successful at WPMS and not micro managing everything they do has them know that I trust them as professionals to do what is best for their students. I do have to say, our team in amazing! They work so hard together for our kiddos.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We continue to have weekly collaboration meetings with our math team members. Of our three math teachers two have not had much experience in fostering student interactions, which in which we want to focus on sharing perspectives, communicating, and student collaboration. IM has helped to bring more of this out with our students with the built in collaboration and student voice in the lessons.</div>]]></description>
