The pattern indicates that the increase in KM is significant over time.

2) The depletion of ozone results from CFC being released from household items such as refrigerators and air conditioners.

3) I think the Montreal Protocol has been a success to a large extent. From the graph, the initial trend is clearly showing the increasing size of the ozone hole, if the Montreal Protocol had not occurred, the trend would have continued but it has recently stabilised.
