Through out the video there are a lot of notable connections between fitzgeralds life and Gatsbys in the novel. For example when he falls in love with a girl name Ginevra and her father tells him that poor boys aren't meant to marry rich girls and their relationship was ended. This is exactly what happened between daisy and Gatsby in the novel, this relates to the thematic idea of social class and how it played a big part in peoples lives in that time. If there wasn't a difference in the way people are treated based on their wealth then they would still be together

Thematic Ideas connected between Fitzgerald;s life and the novel would be Social Status. The things that connected would be their lifestyle. He connected alot with the character Gatsby, noticeable things would be how they both were successful, living thriving lives, they both had they same characteristics, they both liked to party, they liked working, they wanted to be the center of attention and be well known. A message that can be learned from Fitzgerald's life and novel would be to not to be caught up in the past, the mistakes you mad will stay there and you have to move forward as a person

F. Scott Fitzgeralds had many parts of his life that were quite interesting that ended up in The Great Gatsby such as the big elaborate parties, found a way to win people over and to fit in, the girls families did not approve of them being together because of social class. A message that can be learned in Fitzgeralds life and novel is that if you have money you can get what you want.

His relationship ended up in the novel. Some of the things he did with Zelda are things that Tom & Daisy did. For example, Tom & Daisy always traveled places and never really settled down. Same thing applies to Fitzgerald's real relationship with Zelda. His past relationship with Ginevra went downhill because he was poor and she needed to be with someone who had money. Similar to Daisy who had to marry someone with money. Interesting lessons that can be learned from his life is that sometimes money does not guarantee a relationship. Zelda ended up cheating on him even if he was a celebrity and had money.

One interesting part of F. Scott Fitzgerald's life that connects to The Great Gatsby is that Zelda cheated on him but they still stayed together after she cheated on him. Some thematic ideas that connect The Great Gatsby and Fitzgerald's life is love and dreams because Fitzgerald failed at love like Gatsby did with Daisy and Fitzgerald had dreams of being rich because his father failed in life. A lesson that can be learned from his life and the novel is that you can be whoever you want.

The interesting parts of F. Scott Fitzgerald's life that seems to have ended up in The Great Gatsby is Fitzgerald wanted to talked about, he wants to known, kinda like Gatsby was known for all those wild rumors. Another connection would be how Fitzgerald finally got the "women of his dreams" to marry him after he became famous, which is the same like Daisy and Tom. Daisy married Tom because he had a reputation in Chicago, and Tom was also very wealthy. The thematic idea i came up with is consistency, if you really want something you have to fight for it.

Fitzgerald involved many little things in the novel, like meeting a girl at a dance club. When Zelda cheated on him he still stayed with her, the same way Daisy stays with Tom after he constantly cheats on her. They [Gatsby and Scott] both fought and did whatever they had to do to get and keep the girl. The thematic idea I got from Scotts life is that you should never take time or people for granted or waste your time on love that is not there.

the connection to the novel and fitzgerald's life was he was hoping to switch places with gastby. Maybe it's all how he wanted it to go down. he wanted to go to the army like gastby and owned a house like gastby and have the same stylish sober life like gastby. The idea of gastby would be the fitzgerald's idea of what a perfect life would be. the thematic idea/lessen that i took from this is that is you don't use your time wisely so when you grow old you won't fell like you actually lived your life to the fullest
