5 Sept
Next class on Wednesday went really well and exciting as our instructor started to give a 'one group' lecture. He elaborate more on our first on-going assessment; Article Review. 📖📚

For homework, we assigned to search for an article related on education and science field 😊

Week 2- Monday off 💕

but later on, it was rejected.

12 Sept
Wednesday class starts fresh, and Sir Furkan continue on the lectures. He highlights that the article review due date will be on week 3. At the end of the class, for those who would like to ask the approval on the article may stay for the consultation. During the weekend, i sent another article for Sir Furkan to approve. After a while of waiting, its APPROVED! 😌

Week 3- Its Monday off AGAIN! 😲

this time around we had another public holiday. And this is because yesterday we celebrated Malaysia Day and public holiday is on today. Happy Malaysia Day sir! 🎉Not to forget, i am finishing my article review that will be submit by this Friday😉

19 Sept
its the first time meeting with our instructor for this week. Sir Furkan starts to explain on our next on-going assessment (the one we most thrill for😨) which is Micro-teaching. Micro-teaching carries 30% of our marks (lesson plan 10%, micro-teaching 20%). He point out that lesson plan is the most essential part in preparing our micro-teaching as it’s has 10% of marks allocate to itself ❗.

Sir Furkan then proceeds by explaining each part in the lesson plan, starting from how to write a date until the writing of the conclusion. At the end of the class, he let us to have a copy of the lesson plan format, and he’ll start to check the draft by the next following week 👌

Week 4-

our Monday morning class starts by sir Furkan saying “compare your self-image with your portrayed image”🌻 Does it reflect yourself? Sir Furkan begins with lecture on Curriculum and Instruction. He first points out the qualities of effective teachers, some are:

Prepare well & have clear goals
Make as much teaching contacts (which I think he does the most)
Have high expectations on children

In attempts to further explain on the curriculum and instruction, students asked to give their opinion which could be the advantages of a centralized curriculum 💬

Before the end of the lesson, he also touched on the curriculum development model, Tyler’s model 😄

today’s class is where we get to check our lesson plan’s draft with our instructor✔ . Some students already done the draft and some are not yet done. I present my draft during one to one consultation and of course some of it needs a total repair 😂

this week will be last week for Sir Furkan to give a mass lecture in DK F2 🙁 Next mass lecture will be handling by Sir Hisyam Ismail👋 Sir Furkan continued his lecture on the Curriculum Development Model. Last week he only got to cover on the 4 elements of Tyler’s Model.

He starts by explaining the model’s strengths💪 and weaknesses👎. Until the end of the lesson, he managed covered up the other 3 curriculum development model (Dynamic model, Taba’s Model, Contemporary Model)🧠

The other part in the lesson plan that not yet explain by Sir Furkan was explained during the class. Its include Tahap Penguasaan until Refleksi which is the last part in the lesson plan ✍

We finished learned on how to write the lesson plan, so it’s the time to start DESIGNING INSTRUCTION!👨‍⚖️ For those did not yet get to check their lesson plan last week, they get to check their lesson plan today 👌

P/s: next week will be the Mega Scitech 🤩

SCITECH is a short form of Science Technology 2018 which is an event that organized annually by Science Education Society Faculty of Education UiTM 📖📚

This event was purposely done to give secondary school students an exposure on the importance of science education 📣💡🍀🔬 where they get hands-on experience with science games and contests 🎭🎪👩‍🏫🚀🚗

Sir Furkan enter class at 3.00 pm and our Wednesday class went light and more relax 🌼 We are having a leisure talk on the main reason why we took this field for our bachelor degree and also why we chose this for our future ❓

Some of my classmate shared their feeling during this journey, some also expressed their uncertainty and self-doubt in pursuing this field. But at the end of the end day, it's such an ease after listening to Sir Furkan's comforting words 💙

Overall, its feels like this week has gone so fast and its been really amazing! 🍃👏 So lets chill a little bit...

Week 7- Micro teaching comes to real 😱😁

for the first time, we are given a lecture by Sir Hisyam🌷 , our second instructor. He continues on the chapter Curriculum Evaluation. During the lecture, he also remind us on the second on-going assessment, Course Design ❗ that should be submit shortly ⏳

Along with the content, he shared a little bit on the new system 📝that will be implemented in the faculty in late 2019 next year. The main changes of the system will be the opportunity 💡that given to the student to choose their elective courses across faculties😍. Its different from nowadays system that allow for minor and major courses (finally, something for good). Test 1 will be next week, and it will covered until this week's lecture.📚📖

Starting this week's Wednesday until the following upcoming Wednesday, it will be micro-teaching that done by our classmate 👨‍⚖️👩‍⚖️ We got 6 teachers every week and each one of them are given 20 minutes to teach 🕔

The first 6 teachers for today are Akmal, Farah, Mirul, Hidayah, Kak Vel and Tasha. ❤They all are doing so good during the teaching. One thing that remarkable💕 for me is that, all of them manage to overcome their nervousness that they all seems so relaxed at the front.

Thanks to them, i got to learn many things to do and improve in my micro-teaching later 🍀

Week 8- First test done! 👊

for today's Monday session, there is no lecture instead, we are having our first test. The first test question are prepared by Sir Furkan so we are very prepared for the test 😉 The test was done simultaneously with Bio, Math, Chemistry and Physics students. It went well, and i am quite confident with my answers 🤪

this week was the second week for the micro-teaching. Teachers that will be teaching are Mira, Meera, Qis, Zaf, Yana and Nad. Instead of starting the class at 2 pm, the class started at 9.30 am and finish at 12.30. The micro-teaching was held at Lab 2 which i think, it will be quite challenging for them. Why i think it was quite challenging? It is because, if i were them, i don't think that i could deliver well in a wide area of classroom with a small area of whiteboard 😫 not to mention the huge bench that separate teacher from the students 😪. But, at the end, i think its only me that was overthinking, because all of the teachers today did and overcome the challenges magnificently 👏💪📚👨‍⚖️. Thanks to the poor lab, they are now a flexible teacher!

Week 9- Counting days 🏡😚

Sir Hisyam continue his lecture and he start with the aim of education. The lecture was really fun💙 because we love the way Sir Hisyam relate the subject content with his experience. He like to story tell during the class, which i think it fills time the most 👍

teachers for today are Acap, Atengg, Soley, Aiman, Atun and Zana 🍀 My first impression on them is that, i think all of them has their own strength in teaching. One was able to catch the attention of the student, while the other one manage to make students' attention to stay on them during the lesson 😨.

Hearing the comments from Sir Furkan really make me nervous for the micro-teaching later but i believe that if i work for it, i will get it🌺 . It does not have to be perfect, but at least i am improving 🌟

p/s: holidays are approaching, now i am feels like fireworks 🎉🎊😍

Week 10- Holiday mood still on 😴

today will be the last lecture in this course. We never thought that it will be this express 😂 and it means that next week and afterwards will only be on micro-teaching 💁‍. During the lecture, Sir Hisyam touches on the instructional objectives. It also covers on the Bloom Taxonomy 🔺✔.

micro-teaching continues with Acha, Ainie, Aina, Zaty, Ammar and Hamzi as the teacher 🙃. From their teaching today i can see that some of them has really prepared☘🎀 for the micro-teaching and some are not 🕔. For those who did not get to prepare their teaching well, it maybe due to the assignments due dates that are around the corner 📚❗.

But do not worry, you can always improve in future. Just remember to give your best in everything that you do! 🤙🌷

Just before the end of the class, i was shocked with the upcoming line-up for micro-teaching next week 😵. Since Monday lecture class has finished, we are going to continue micro-teaching on that day and it left me to be on the line-up for Wednesday 😭⚡

Week 11- Finally its my turn! 😨😉😫🤗

for today 2 hours period, we are going to have only 4 teachers instead of 6. The teachers are Kak Ti, Wan, Iqa and Leonaa 👩 As everyone are well aware on today's teachers, we are very excited to see they teaching. Kak Ti start off really strong 😚and smooth until the end🎉📝 . Until today i am still amazed on how Kak Ti actually shows her emotion 💋 during the teaching while enduring her nervous. I really feels like want to absorb her energy🌈

p/s: can anyone send me to the moon? I am really nervous rn 🌘😥

who are going to teach today? Of course its me 🙋‍. Honestly, for the micro-teaching today, i feels like i really want to give my best, and to make sure all the practice before are worth it👊🌈 . I am going to teach Blood Clotting Mechanism 💉which i think its a kind of topic that not too boring, and not too complicated👌 . Other friends that will teach together with me today are Rai, Ain, Dhilla, Mira and Noni. I hope the best for all of them

Week 12- The Final week as teachers 💆‍♂️

today is the last day of micro teaching. The line-ups are Ainaa, Epul, Suha and Yeng. The class started with Ainaa teaching The Concept of Sexual Reproduction in Flowering Plants🌺 . Honestly for me, Ainaa has the best teaching material for the day 👏 because i am at the back seat can see all the aids that she is displaying. But for her content delivery, i think she was a bit like in Story-Telling than teaching. Then, proceed with Epul, he's doing good, but i felt like something missing in his teaching 🤔. As Sir Furkan commented, he absolutely can do better. As for Suha, i love her voice projection😍🎉. Last but not least, I admire Yeng spontaneity in teaching and that makes her quite remarkable for the day 😂

So that's how we ended one of our on-going assessment 🌈

Not forget to mention, then we have another on-going assessment; Course Design 😵

There is no class for today!🤸‍♀️ Even so, we are demanded to discuss on our Course Design😴 My group members for this time are the most usual; Yana, Qis, Rai, Mirul and our new member, Zafri 👯‍♂️👯‍♀️

Week 14- Its started to get a little emotional💕

so today we are having our last class with Sir Furkan for this course🍂. It is a wrap up on the course content that we had already learned throughout the semester 🕔. Then, we proceed with the sharing of opinions on this course❓. Somehow, the class turn to be a little bit emotional😥, and i think that this is because everyone is sincerely read out their heart content💚. I also do want to share my thought at that time, but i am afraid that i also might as well be emotional 🤙

Overall, it is really nice to listen to Sir Furkan advice's and strength words. Thankyou sir!

in essence, there is no other words than thank you that we can say to you sir🌻 . Thank you for teaching EDU555 for us and by having you to teach us, it really open our eyes on what lies ahead in becoming a teacher💛. Thank you again for noticing our progress and made a point out of it🌟. And lastly, we will always be thankful and grateful for having you as our lecturer (since semester 1)😊. We hope for a great success for you!
