People nowadays value certain lines of work over those who toil in manual labor. Inflation makes it hard for low-wage workers, which leads to the penury of a portion of the population.

Under labor and employment, some employers hire Filipino workers for periods of less than 6 months to avoid permitting them regular employment status, and as a result, this causes the lack of job security and treatment/benefits.

Taking advantage of one's situation and hindering Filipinos' access to proper treatment as employees is an important issue to be aware of, as it affects their well-being and given rights to a proper, respectful, and fair working environment.

In the current context of the country, it is undeniable that there are internal struggles, also being given that the Philippines is a developing third world country.

The one aspect that can further improve the country’s general well-being and more specifically, economic state, is employment, but even that is becoming a struggle in the present.
