And it will overflow from our lives. Felt God's deep desire for us to come to Him like a child..Felt His delight for me as his daughter. To Him, I am good enough and He will finish his good work in me..

Inspiring to hear Kenny's stories of living by faith and trusting God's provision for him. Such sincere, authentic, child-like heart. He said this "We're so good at helping ourselves that we make no room for God in our hearts for miracles to take place...when no miracles, no testimonies, and faith comes from hearing." This is so true. After being a christian and a ldr for so long, now i am "zhai", and resourceful in helping myself. But how to have room for more of God? I am convicted to lean more of Him and make room for miracles in my life. Another thing that touched me was that "We strive because we think we are not enough." This is a powerful lie. I am enough. I am inspired by Kenny's sharing especially on the cycle of performance trap. I somehow can identify with Kenny's experience of trying to be good and caught in cycle of felt condemned when fail then wallowed in self pity. His sharing really reminded me that God's grace is always sufficient for me. Clearly, God has much more in store for us!
-All things beautiful in his time: The way in which he met his wife, proposed, had a kid and bought a flat, all while being in the mission field at such a late age, supercedes any Hollywood-script out there!

Though it's very difficult to imitate due to life circumstances, I was reminded as I kept hearing him say how he heard from God about this and that, such that it's almost like a constant thing in his life. To be sensitive to God' prompting, to ask for His input, to involve God in our day to day things, and to make room for miracles and less of our helping ourselves are what I hope to do more. It made me miss those times and i wish to experience it again because those moments made me feel like God is close to me. Not just showing it, not emulating it, but to incarnate it. I usually don't really fall into the performance trap, but I'm often busy with planning/scheduling/organizing what I want to do/say that I often forget to just incarnate God's love. 1. Kenny mention whoever judge others have the tendency to judge / critical at oneself. It got me to realized how critical i was to others and myself
2.  I am also caught up with performance trap, to prove my worth for fear that I may be seen as failure or appear useless.
