To introduce the topic I will start by asking about what the know about the need of food to all the group. (Remembering)

After some interactions i will put some good answers in the board. 

Later i present a text speaking about the diet restrictions of a diabetic person. They have to read it loud in turns. At the same time I can clarify  the meaning of som phrases or words. (Understanding)

The next thing is explain the needs of food of a person. After that I divide the class on groups and They have to start to make a diet for the person of the text. (remembering, apply and Create)

Finally we all compare the different diets that they have chosen and see what they have in common, where are the differences, and what can be improved. Why? I think is important to the students that are not comfortable with L2, to understand and use the language of the unit. If I, as a teacher, repeat the same words the have it easier to remember and understand the vocabulary

What kind of scaffolding did you buy? Bounce answers around the room to build on understanding and have students develop stronger reasoning out of misconceptions.

Why? the concepts can be difficult to understand, especially in another language.

If you try to show different aspects of the same concept from other points of view, it can be easier for students to understand.

The activity can be done once the unit is in the middle or finishing. The techer puts the speening wheel in the computer and picks students randomly to anwer. The student needs to name a food item of the category listed in L2. If he can't doit in L2 he or she can do it in L1 and the rest of the class or the teacher can translate it to L2. 

It can be used in diferent ways. On example is he thinks in a thing that fits the category, and describes it so the rest of the students can try to gess it.

First, the teacher starts the kahoot, and the students come in to answer the questions. The teacher can answer every question, give answers, or explain the concepts. The last one is the wheel of food.

The Wheel is shown in the screen. And one student is randomly selected tu participate. After that, the student thinks in something that fits the category, and describes it so the rest of the students. Then their companions can try to gess it.
