It all started when I brought a hermit crab home from the beach and it died on my birthday. My parents got me and Sadie two crabs each and have regretted that decision ever since. All these years later, Hannah still lives on...and on...and on. Did I mention hermit crabs eat each other? It was a special homeschool trip. It was probably one of my all-time favorite trips. We got to sleep right beside the biggest tank in the aquarium that housed sharks, sting rays, and whale sharks.
