         <description><![CDATA[<div>The effect of closed body language on the health professional could mean that they do not appear as professional, cannot get the information effectively from patients or effectively portray their message, they may also appear rude and hence patients may not return for next consultation<br>The&nbsp;effect of&nbsp;closed body language on the patient can mean that they&nbsp;feel like they are not being listened to, it may make them feel uncomfortable and it may&nbsp;make them feel as though they should stop trying to communicate with the dietician as they are not being shown the respect they&nbsp;deserve&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It makes it seem like the health professional isn't confident in what they are saying and therefore adherence to any intervention is unlikely. Closed body language doesn't create a platform for a patient to ask questions which is so important to clarify information and build rapport. Also creates a bad name for other health professionals in that field that may be grouped together as having poor communication skills so are not worth seeing. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
