In the artwork 'Untitled', the subject matter is the people and the the curry that was served, The space is inside the museum where people can interact with each other while eating the curry. In a way, movement played a huge role in the artwork, how the people interact with others, as well as enjoying the curry. There may be various movements going on at once, and it creates a collaborative experience forms relationships between the various subject matter. This shows that the artist wants to create an interactive piece combining both the subject matter (curry) with the people.

In the artwork Black Floor by Tania Bruguera, the artwork is like figure 5, where the audience interacts with the art object. The black floor is thermo sensitive, which creates a white mark when heat is applied on it. There is a large contrast between the floor, when heat is in contact with the floor. The colors black and white. When multiple people are interacting with the artwork at the same time, it creates a sense of collaboration. The intention of the artist was that people can all join together to contribute to this artwork, and have fun with it.

Audience participation:
The audience is an active participant in the artwork. The audience, artist and art object come together to become the artwork. Rikrit Tiravanija creates curry to give to audience members, who then sit in the area and eat the curry.

This engages the audience and emphasises the idea of participation and community that the artist intended to create. The fact that both the artist and the audience are brought to the level of “artwork” puts them on more equal terms, and allows the audience to be closer to the artist, instead of having the artist keep a distance from them.

Subject matter:
The artists uses food, specifically curry, as the art object, which he passes to the audience for them to eat.

The use of food was a powerful choice to emphasise the idea of collectivity. Food is commonly seen as a way to bring people together, with many celebrations centring around food, or eating food as a community. To eat food with someone else is to be vulnerable to them, to flaunt the humanness of both parties and create a sense of companionship with each other. The artist is likely trying to achieve this effect on a larger scale, bringing a togetherness to a space that is usually for solitary observation.

Repetition:
The artist repeatedly gives out curry to all the audience members. He serves the same amount of curry in the same way throughout the duration of the artwork.

The repetition creates a sense of predictability. Audience members were aware of what they were getting and understood how the artwork worked. This predictability likely puts the audience at ease, giving an overall feeling of comfort to the artwork. The comfortability aids in showing the intention of the artist to bring peace and community to the gallery :)

Since the subject matter, (the people), will constantly be changing, thus the way space is used would be ever-changing as well. For example, sometimes participants would be sitting down in particular ways, spread out or cluttered with one another.

Sound: Chattering, footsteps, cooking, and chewing sounds are being produced when the artwork is in play.

The artist invites the audience to be a part of the artwork, inviting the audience to immerse themselves in the process that is eating the curry and interacting with people around them. Movement and space play a big role in the artwork. People are constantly moving around, people are moving to get the curry to go back to their seat, to talk to people etc. there is a lot of movement within that space which can spark interaction. The artwork itself is the audience interacting with each other with the food, space and artist serving as a medium for that interaction. Movement is a vital quality in the artwork as it facilitates and encourages audience interactions, which is an important goal the artist wanted to meet. Space too is a important quality in the artwork. Having that space for people to eat and enjoy food, to interact, to talk to one another. Space, physical and psychological, is created to encourage viewers to socialise and to overall just sit in the moment and enjoy the experience. Whether it'd be enjoying the curry on your own, or socialising with the people around you. The physical space is structured in a way where the audience is encouraged to sit with others, with the use of tables and chairs. They're encourages to take a seat, share a table with someone to facilitate that conversation. Psychological space is created as they already understand that this is an exhibition, they understand that they are supposed to interact in the artwork as they come into that space.

The marks created are light grey colour, contrasting to the dark black floor. This places emphasis on it, making it the focal point of the artwork. The space is quite large, giving the audience more freedom. The time is real-time as the audience is experiencing the artwork, as it is being completed with their presence and participation.

In the work, the artist uses a thermo-sensitive floor. The audience interacts with the floor, imprinting white marks on it with their body heat as they lie down. The marks created are a light, whitish colour, contrasting with the dark floor. This contrast helps place emphasis on the marks, making it the focal point of the artwork. The artist gathers the audience to lie down next to each other, forming a circular, closed shape. The people are equally spaced between each other, creating a pattern. The artwork takes place within a large, enclosed area.

The artwork takes place in real time, allowing for collaboration between the artist, the audience and the people within the audience. The use of the heat-sensitive medium allows the artist to capture the audience's participation within the work. The contrast between the marks and the floor places emphasis on the marks the audience has made, and hence makes their contribution and participation the main focus of the artwork. Additionally, the repetition created by the bodies creates a sense of collectivity; the audience works together to make up a pattern.

The artist invites the audience into the space, encouraging them to lie down on the Thermo ink-covered ground. They lie side by side or even in patterns. They are encouraged to come together to form a beautiful series of printed bodies and even patterns. Tania wants people to come together to make a change. The bodies that make art together are symbolic of how we have to come together to make a change, to make something beautiful. Each print has a similar 'base' shape, you'll probably see some form of a torso for every print. (done lying down) All the prints are white contrasting against the black floor. But at the same time, everybody's body is unique and their own. Her artwork touches on the migration crisis, and in a way, she breaks down barriers between people through the way her work is carried out. Strangers just come together and create an artwork, it doesn't matter who you are, but as long as you immerse in the work you start to become something bigger than yourself. She aims for her audience to understand that regardless of who we are, and where we're from, we are all part of something bigger than ourselves and that we are all humans. We may all come from different walks of life, but the artwork encourages the audience to break that barrier.

Artist intention was carried out with the help of the audience and is only possible with their participation as the artist needed many people's body heat in order for the work to come about. The colour of the floor turns lighter shade when the audience interacts by lying down which shows how when a society work together the change can be seen and if only one person lied down only one part of the floor would be lighter which shows that if only one person tried to solve a problem they would be incapable of solving the entire problem on their own.

Colour and Contrast: The overall artwork is monochromatic. White ink created due to the thermal heat absorbed by the bodies juxtaposes the black floor. The contrast allows the bodies' shapes to stand out. By physically imprinting the bodies' shapes, it shows the differences between each body structure. Even with the differences, it only shows how they are one together.

Unity: There are many people standing together in the artwork which shows there is a sense of unity. The people were instructed to lie down in a circular shape which literally shows there is no end and that there is continuity in their unity. The close proximity in which the people are in again reinforces this idea that they are strongly bonded together.
