  • Three inmates escaped, but 5 were part of it.

  • They escaped on a raft that was later found in pieces in the sea.

  • The inmates most likely drowned, but their bodies were never found so there are still warrants out for their arrest.

    1. Theory: I think they either drowned or a ship came for them when they got far enough from Alcatraz.
