My first experience on the rolls~

Programming:

Personally I felt this was rather boring due to the fact there was a limit to what you could

Code which was the characters movement. Also I didn’t really like the fact it was repetitive

However I personally feel when actually creating a game it would be elements fun as there would be no limit of what to do i.e. what weapons a character can use and what it does.

I found nothing really difficult about it as I felt that it was actually easy as you was only coding the characters movement.

On the other hand when actually creating a game I think that it would be difficult as there would be no limit on what you could create.

Concept Art:

I really enjoyed using the touch pads as it is a very inventive way of how to draw.

However as this was my first time using this feature I found it difficult to use and I was rather bad when drawing.

But over time when I get used to using the product I should become quite good at it.

It is easier to draw by hand compared to on the computer as well.

Writing:

When Writing I feel that it would be cool when creating a game, as it is down to you what the story of the game is and what the characters say and how this is then linked further on in your game.

Also you would be in control of what your background and scheme of the game looks like to incise and grab your audience in to wanting to buy your game.

However I feel that this would be very difficult as you would have to make a lot of key decisions and it could go either good or terribly bad.

I would like to be taught how to do this as this is important when becoming a game designer as it is good experience so you can become better and create better ideas.
~

Art/Concept
I found drawing on the graphics tablets was different, but arguably better, because of the factor it's easy to correct mistakes you make without totally ruining your work.
I would emphasis the fact the fact that you need to zoom in to do intricacies, including the need focus on one style. I would also say it's nice to include different brushes to make your work look nicer.
Story/Writing
When writing I would say it's important to go over SPaG, and it's needed to know what you are writing and plan accordingly, it can be lengthy and boring if you repeat to much, and things won't be emphasised enough if you repeat too little. Understand the genre you are writing in, so you can change vocabulary accordingly.

Programming
I found that CodeCombat doesn't teach much; just really covers the fundamentals of programming.
I would say that you'll need to understand the separate formats of data, such as Boolean, Integers, Strings etc.
I'd say one thing to take from previous experience from programming is the need to colour code the code you write, otherwise something you are looking for may become lost in your code.

2.	Have a steadier hand to make my lines more precise and accurate on a graphics tablet, don’t feather my lines as this looks messy draw 1 solid straight line to make a clean piece of artwork.
3.	Finding and using various tools to improve my drawings and give them different features. Also I have difficulties finding the correct brushes and filters which could enhance my drawings.
4.	Digital art is used to create different visuals of the game and to create multiple ideas of what the game would look like or could’ve looked like.

Programming:

- Personally I felt this was rather boring due to the fact there was a limit to what you could code which was the characters movement. Also I didn’t really like the fact it was repetitive

-	However I personally feel when actually creating a game it would be elements fun as there would be no limit of what to do i.e. what weapons a character can use and what it does.

- I found nothing really difficult about it as I felt that it was actually easy as you was only coding the characters movement.

- On the other hand when actually creating a game I think that it would be difficult as there would be no limit on what you could create.

Concept Art:

-	I really enjoyed using the touch pads as it is a very inventive way of how to draw.

- However as this was my first time using this feature I found it difficult to use and I was rather bad when drawing.

- But over time when I get used to using the product I should become quite good at it.

-	It is easier to draw by hand compared to on the computer as well.

Writing:

-	When Writing I feel that it would be cool when creating a game, as it is down to you what the story of the game is and what the characters say and how this is then linked further on in your game.

-	Also you would be in control of what your background and scheme of the game looks like to incise and grab your audience in to wanting to buy your game.

-	However I feel that this would be very difficult as you would have to make a lot of key decisions and it could go either good or terribly bad.

-	I would like to be taught how to do this as this is important when becoming a game designer as it is good experience so you can become better and create better ideas.

1.	Programming is the coding form used to create a game and its animations such as moving a player the code would be Player_Moveup and this is vital when creating a non-static game.
2.	The positives of coding are that it makes a game animated and playable which makes the game interesting and appealing.
3.	There are a few negatives of programming these include that it is hard to understand and code, as well as if an error is made it is very difficult to fix the issue and resolve the game.
4.	Learning and optimizing each code and place them within the correct order and understand each codes purpose in each part when programming.

1.	Game writing is when you create the characters origin stories and backgrounds as well as writing the overall plot for the story of the game.
2.	The positives of games writing you can be creative as you want to be as there are no boundaries therefore meaning you can have the story the exact way you want it.
3.	The negatives behind game writing is sometimes it is difficult to imagine some of the events that occur within the game and it can be difficult as sometimes your mind can go blank.
4.	The improvements I could make are being a little bit more creative with my stories and characters backgrounds, also add more interesting events to make the player happier whilst enjoying the storyline.

Programming
1. For programming you need patience, because you need to learn to language of the code which takes time, and without which you won't understand.
2. Programming requires numeracy, because numbers are one of the biggest parts of programming/ coding.
3. You need focus for programming as it requires people to spend time doing one thing sitting in one place, which may be boring, but they still need to concentrate.
4. Programming requires time management and prioritization, because if you have multiple tasks to do, then you need to prioritize which task you do first, and you need to manage how much time to spend on each task.
Concept Art

~Game programmer

1. Using the attack mode on to the target enemy and using the coordinates as well as the seeing code where your character can see the enemy to lock on can be hard especial if the enemy are in groups or not.

2. Moving the character you are given is simple on telling the character to go left, right, up and down but it can get tricky when the y/x comes by where you have to go different ways instead of a straight line and not to get the character hurt or killed.

3. Having the character say stuff to trigger it can be hard on when to start the words and how to since you don't won't the character to say more than one sentence at once and having it in the correct way so it don't get all mess up and confuses the player while playing.

4. Making sure that there are no errors in the game as it can cause problems like make the game not work and cause some bugs to happen which wouldn't go well at all and if it get's release to the public then they won't like it on how broken and unclean the game is.

Game Writing

1. The story got to make sense and is understandable to the gamers on what's going on and to make it feel like a quest as the way the story explained. If it get's messed up or confusing then the gamers will have less interest not only with the story but so bad that they won't like the game play and feel more like a chore to do that won't feel great and less like an adventure that feels rewarding.

2. The story and dialog has to make good impressions that make that character or feeling feels like it's really happening because if there is little to no understanding why then it doesn't feel like an uproar on why that charter is like that or why show this feeling right now when it doesn't need to be there.

3. Motivation is a key point that will make the gamer buy the game or not and that is what the cover on the back of the game box and the instruction manual have as it is on of the first thing the gamer will see other than the box art and the title of the game. It needs to be interesting and exciting enough on what the plot and how it links to the game play for the gamer to buy the game.

4. The story and reason need to be interesting for the player in a good way so that they know how interesting and great the story is the reason behind going to the final part in the game since it part of the plot and the ending of the game of the story needs to make the play feel like they done there job or hints for an second game to come meaning the story isn't over but the game the gamers finish is over.

Game Art
1. The art of the game box will be important as not only do the cover on what the picture got to be impressive for the gamer to buy but also on how the title which in many cases has to draw by the art team to make the title theme to the cover art as well as the game itself to make as promiseable as possible so that the gamer isn't lied to and that what the art cover shows is there in a way related to the game as well as the title. This is because if it's not then the gamer would be disappointed and may want a refund from being lied to about what the art looked like and what it should of have which it didn't.

2. The art got to look how the developers want it to look. For example if the developers want it to be pixel like an 8bit or 16bit game then the designers need to make the settings and the characters be pixel and look convincing as a pixel game and not a strange pixel art that isn't convincing at all not only to the public but also to the developers and the game idea team how came up with the idea that the game should be pixel.

3. The art in the land needs to be like the character in most games so the character can fit in it and it feels like it's really their land their in or where the character is going of an adventure really feels like the experience of exploring. Some games however have the character a little different to the world there in. For example in the paper Mario games (not the main Mario games)the characters are 2d where some locations are 3d which still fits in on the way the designers uses colours and shapes to not make it completely out of place where the 2d and the 3d shouldn't be together.

4. Editing by using Photoshop or GIMP by using real pictures of location or land marks and editing them to the game where the character can go in or see as well as the player. This can be really helpful when it comes to edit certain stuff like houses and trees and has some style to it as it can make it look nice and to have a different look and feel to the picture that was taken from.~

-Programming
1. Programming requires a lot of patience due to it being a very intense job that you do on your own and can become really tedious.
2. You need to have a lot of perseverance because once you start you have to finish what you have done even if you struggle to find the answer.
3. Critical thinking is also a great skill that would help a lot due to a lot of problems that will arise and being able to solve them in the moment is vital.
4. Being able to have a mind where you can solve problems with ease or at least easier makes programming more manageable.

-Games Writing
1. Imaginative being able to create worlds and characters within your mind is vital.
2. Creative being creative and able to write about the worlds and characters that you think of is a great skill.
3. Being original is also an affordable skill since it will help you create pieces of writing that people haven't read before and will want to delve deeper into your story.
4. Also having good English skills will make it so that you can communicate your story with interesting and flavorful language.

-Concept art
1. Being able to adapt your art style is a critical skill that is needed within the games industry.
2. If you experiment with character concepts or landscapes instead of sticking to a single design you can create more interesting options to choose from.
3. Attention to detail is great because you can put the fine tuning on the art and make it even more interesting with smaller more unnoticeable details.
4. Being able to interpret something in different ways such as if the writer describes a character you are then able to portray a few different versions of what they could look like.
