I remember the night she died like it was yesterday. Me and my little brother were asleep one night when my mam came in and woke us up. she took us to her friends house and told us she needed to go see my great nana ( the hospital had told my nana and mam the she wasn't going to last the night) and even tho I was very young at the time I think I knew what was going on. when my mam came and collected us the next day and took us straight to my nanas house. When we got there my mam took me to the top of the stairs and sat down with me as she started to cry...
As she cried i turned around and began to explain something that i had saw the night before. She liked to be in her own home, with her family and friend visiting her regularly although she wasn't a person that would go visiting others. She didn't go to over 60's club, bingo or socializing in pubs. As she got into her later years she became very accident prone falling quite frequently. She broke her femur and then a few years later she broke her wrist and split her head open having to have her head stapled shut.
