The idea of having a dream connects to Lennie and George because for them it doesn't matter the situation that they are in they have a dream to have a farm and live big.
3. Despite all the obstacles that George and Lennie have going on they still have a dream, although Lennie has troubles with killing things he still focuses on tending the rabbits.

The " American Dream " is an ideal dream for most people This dream consists of helping others , making a change or even just graduating. One video discusses the saying " Lifting ones self from the bootstrap " , this saying was viewed differently ie: Lifting yourself up from the ground and Lifting ones self out of a situation using the resources you have. Success tends to be a keyword in the discussion of the " American Dream " What is success to many ? Success to some include the money they get and to others Success is as simple as being in a better situation then one once was in .
