Habo decides to steal from someone in this paragraph when he could have just gone to buy food. Why would he decide to steal instead of just paying for not-stolen food? I think it would be easier to just go buy food from a store in Dar es Salaam because people don't care about his albinism there. I wonder why he felt the need to just take from someone.

Habo is arriving at Dar es Salaam on these pages. It is a huge city and he was very in shock. Cities like Dar es Salaam, or New York, or LA are really interesting, especially for someone who lives in a small town. I can relate to Habo because the first time I went to Manhattan, New York, I was also shocked and in awe like he was.

" Although I've been walking all day, I cant stop looking over my shoulder, checking for Alasiri". I think that Habo should relax a little bit and be less worried. He is in a new city and Alasiri can't get there. The next train wouldn't pick him up for another two days and then he would not make it to Habo for another two days after that. Even though Habo should be careful he should relax.

Taxis honk their horns, buses pull in and out of spaces that seem much too small for them, and people yell at one another to be heard above the traffic." I think Habo is feeling overwhelmed because this city is so different from his hometown.

I noticed that on these pages that they give off good imagery. For example, on page 148 the text states, ¨Dar es Salaam is choking on cars and people. Taxis honk their horns, buses pull in and out of spaces that seem much to small for them, and people yell at one another to be heard above traffic¨(Sullivan 128). This quote put a grate image in my mind of what is going on where Habo is.

Also earlier on in the book when the two had just met, Kweli had pointed out that Habo´s name ment golden.
