         <description><![CDATA[<div>* His lack of progress and frustration leads him to alter his approach.<br>* Instead of trying to force them to learn about what he feels they should learn he places the control in their hands.<br>* He allows his students to decide what they wish to learn and what they feel is important for them and their lives.<br>* He begins to treat them as adults that are deserving of respect.<br>*  Although it is not immediately accepted, this newfound respect and appeal to their interests eventually wins over their trust, mutual respect, and control within the classroom. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>* Later he moves to a more inquiry based strategy with a focus on social aspects and their lives beyond their school careers.<br>* He allows his learners to pose ideas, share their thinking, and question his own ideas. <br>* Giving them the power to question and decide what they want to learn creates an environment of respect and they are able to learn what they feel is important and relevant to their lives and also creates interest and cooperation within the class room.<br>*Thus this new approach proves to be more effective in trying to teach them and also is more useful for their lives to come than textbook based knowledge.<br><br></div>]]></description>
