* He allows his learners to pose ideas, share their thinking, and question his own ideas. 
* Giving them the power to question and decide what they want to learn creates an environment of respect and they are able to learn what they feel is important and relevant to their lives and also creates interest and cooperation within the class room.
*Thus this new approach proves to be more effective in trying to teach them and also is more useful for their lives to come than textbook based knowledge.
