By dipping threads in vibrant colors and then laying them on paper, let the paint settle for a while and then pull the thread down gently. It creates all different patters on the paper.

Abstract paintings are much fun to create especially by using common materials around you. Like using a bowl to create a circle or in the case i have used paint box's cover for creatings.

Usually model clay is used to for play time in kindergartens and schools for creating figures. Although clay has been used to create pottery, utensils and various ornaments since starting of civilization. Playing with clay can be fun although it can get messy. I have always been found of using clay to create models. It can be found naturally occurring too, depending on the region. Some art shops sell real clay as well these days. Pottery making is a very expressive form of art. Children can be acknowledged about the materials in there natural environment using the clay pottery making activity.

Music as different meaning to everyone. For some people it is simply melodious tunes and for others it can be harmonious sound of voice. Sounds have a important role in every individual's life whether it is someone young or old. The soundwaves created by vibrations in the air is known to affect even plants wellbeing and growth. Many singers and music composers believe the kind of music listened to shapes person's minds.
Music or sounds can be used to relax, to feel uplifted and to interact as well. Music or various vocal sounds can be used to interact with children. Using Howling sound of wolf to gather children after a play can be interesting way of getting them inside. This can also increase their interests in animal voices. As Victor Wooten said, "Music is a powerful communication tool. It causes us to laugh, cry, think and question."
Using vocal pitches while exercising with children to signify getting down or up or various other movements, can also be used as way of communications. Using varying vocal pitches can also help in improving tongue movement and hence speech improvement.

Listening and practicing meditation

Listening doesn't only means attentive listening but being present in the moment. As adult life is stressful, I practice listening to natural sounds or as it is called nature meditation. I go for a walk and pay attention to my surroundings, the noises made by motor vehicles passing by, Voices of people chattering and children playing in parks, infants cooing in their mother's arms and sounds of birds and animals.
There is a spiritual concept practiced as a way of meditation in Ngan’gikurunggurr Aboriginal people of Northern territory called dadirri (da-did-ee). Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr has explained dadirri as a effective spiritual practice used to connect ownself.
Children can be taught to calm their emotions by introducing them to meditation and by listening presently. Practicing meditation after intense outside play time can be a good of showing them to calm senses after undergoing overwhelming emotions. This way they learn to understand their emotions clearly as well.

Children are always intrigued with new experiments and discoveries. To introduce them to natural sounds and how every object around them can produce music or sound, MUSICAL GLASSES is a good activity. For this you need glass tumblers or simple drinking glasses and fill them at different water levels. You can also add different food colors in all glasses to make it more clearer for children. Then just use handle of spoon to produce sounds as instructed in the video.

Introduction to forms of arts

If an artist is asked to define art, he will say everything he sees around him is art. This is a true statement. Art can be found in various forms and in everything if you see through artistic lens. It can make your life more meaningful if you pay attention to things around you, how they move, sound, appear in different lights. (Freeman, 2011)
There are various forms of arts that can be used in activities with children in room or outside the room. They can be taught how to connect with surroundings, recording their reactions to the activities and responses. Children are free minded and hence more creative. An educator can create various opportunities for children by simply challenging their intrusive and artistic sides.
