The main difficulty might be about closing completely the whole parachute; weighing equally the parachute among the 4 sides during its fall; realizing the pyramid respecting the measurements.
The students' approach is to start measuring all the rods and strings well from the beginning so to have a precise start.
Working in pairs will make working on the project better, sharing and cooperating.
Another chance could be creating a parachute having a 6 sides base.

This activity seems very intersting and fun since we are going to make the parachute in teams. We do think we might run into a few difficulties in building the parachute and making sure we are not messing up the proportions. We are excided to see our final products and we hope our skills will help.

We started making the parachute. It was hard to work alone and the sticks were not satying together..now we using hot glue and cellotape to keep it in place.

We all finished the work assigned.
A team has realized a parachute with a six sides base and had to recalculate all the measures.
The difficulties we have met was to join all the ends of the rodds, put the strings and join them.
The predictions related to the measurements and weight have been corrected.
The things we would change are the sticks: it would be appreciated if we had more flexible rods and less breakable.

I thought this activity was difficult, but it was easy. I cannot say that easy because there were places where I had difficulties. I had some difficulty cutting and gluing the thin paper. Other than that, I had a lot of fun. In addition, today I have encountered forces such as gravity force and friction force, I recommend everyone to do this activity.
