Can students have access at home?

I learned how to access the Science Fusion site. I was really impressed with the read aloud section of the website; I think that the ability for low-level readers to hear the material could really help them become more successful learners. I am still interested in learning more about what the scope and sequence for science fusion is as students head to middle school.

We began to explore some ideas on how to integrate Science Fusion into a language arts curriculum. We also explored the People in Science section.

We are still wondering about how to use it so that all learners meet the objectives.

I browsed all of the components and realized there is a lot of different resources we can use in first. We are only concerned about the vocab and level of the content for beginning of the year first graders.

If we can't cover all of the topics we have availiable to us how can we vertically align the grades to make sure the students do not have any gaps?

I learned that there are many useful interactive pages to explain concepts and vocabulary to my students. I will definitely use it for our upcoming natural resources unit. But I will begin trying to use it next week at the latest as well to review prior content so I don't forget how to use it!

My question is more about the program itself: How will we fit it into our schedule without sacrificing reading and language arts time? As it is, I feel strained for language arts time, and from what I hear this program is very in-depth. I am excited to use it, but concerned about this issue. Thanks!

We think this is a great tool to have in our classrooms and use it with our students. Some of the units are related to the units we are currently covering.

Are the units aligned through out all grade levels?

We're excited to try this tool with our next unit Simple Machines. We wish it was a little easier to navigate but perhaps with more practice it will become 2nd nature. Yay technology integration! :)

I browsed through many of the components of the Science Fusion. I really like the program. I truly wish they had something like it for Social Studies. The vocabulary cards are great!

I learned about the virtual labs, media gallery, and shortcut codes. The best part was figuring out how to assign math quizzes - I will use these as study guides!

I browsed through the areas we are currently teaching- learning, and found this amazing. We will begin using this tomorrow! I think the vocabulary is appropriate and the lessons are at an appropriate level. My only concern is...how will we ever live without it??? (when the internet crashes)

I really liked the program. I cant wait to use it in my class. I really like that I can share the resources with parents and that kids have access to the books at home. The vocabulary seems a bit hard.

I learned that the kids can download a powerpoint per unit with great graphics. I also learned I can assign math quizzes online! A question I have is how I can see my students' results to the lessons and digital labs?

We explored the unit on planet earth and found it useful to use in our next unit of study. I found a cool way of taking notes directly on the virtual page. I wonder what kinds of experiments we will do? I did not get to see this component!
