When a business has a boring name and logo then customers will not be attracted to your business.

I chose to name my Event Management business 'Couch Events' because I dont want my business to be like other business, I wanted it to be unique not a generic business name. Couch events to me gives a relaxed feel. I chose Couch Events because I don't want the customer to feel as though they will be stressing before their events whether or not it will be well managed. I used the business slogan ' you slouch we create' because that is the reason that bands etc use event managers so that they are not organising everything themself.
 
I tried to choose bright colours to attract customers which is why I chose to use orange as it almost a fluorescent colour that stands out.

Having all of the essential information displayed is important so that the public is able to contact you in all the forms shown during the times shown.

On my business card design I used the business logo, business name and the colours used in the logo to make it bright and attatched to the business. I included : My name (the event manager), the business phone number, the business email, the business website and the hours that the office is contactable. The reason i chose these bands is because I know it is a good line up for those that listen to Triple J which will attract festival goers to attend. I chose to to hold the music festival at FOorster as it is a reasonable distance from everywhere for people to drive to, it is also a good place for a festival as I have attended a festival in Forster previously.

All the bands in the line up are managed by Couch Events which is why the tickets are availble for purchase from the couch events website.
