Cut, Ripped and measured, the canvas is on the wall ready to start with my story preparing my pallet, the different colours representing a sense of smell, object or day. The first stroke and mark placed on the the material, one line in and already leaving part of my soul on the canvas for all of you to see. The use of eyes which I have used in every painting that I have done, maybe not as obvious in some of them. Im particularly interested in the different layers of eyes, the colours that make up what you see in front of you. We see colour with our brains which is mostly known as we see colour with our eyes. However scientists have proven that its our brains that see it and then send the signal through to the eyes, the slight delay happens but for us we think it's the real time. You as the viewer are looking at my paintings making your own story with it, but you are seeing it with your brain instead of the eyes. 

Through out my practice Im exploring the print in the land that you leave behind. From ancestors to decades all the way back to you. The simple shapes the land forms and crumbles as the sea engulfs it.
