But one day, the German soldiers came to Mrs. Waterman's to search for Jewish people(The Isaak's are Jewish). The soldiers couldn't find anything so they left. His Mom thought it wasn't safe in the attic, so she told Mrs. Waterman and she send Isaak to Friesland. In the next morning Els took Isaak to Friesland by bike, his eyes are filled with tears and he wanted to go back to the attic.
