Creative movement is the inner nature of children. Creative movement helps children with music. The helps develop children's physical skills, expand their creativity, and help them recognize some of their senses which involve touch, sight, and hearing. This article gives 10 creative ways for children to increase their creative movement in early childhood. Teachers can have dance parties with their students at least once a week for about 3 minutes and that would help students with their creative play. It is also important to teach children to respect other people's differences. Whenever students are sharing their writing in a language arts class or sharing their strategies during math class with their peers, teachers are encouraged to tell students to be mindful that others may have different ideas/strategies than they do. Creative play increases children's self-esteem and helps them become a leader which will help them during their adolescent years.
