In 2016, Bill English released his eighth Budget. It was expected for the government to spend more on housing, but there was only a small increase. The total budget was 73.2 billion NZ dollars(if i did the maths right).
EDUCATION- 14.5 BILLION
We were surprised to find that 2.4billion NZ dollars was spent on transport, compared to spending 2.7billion on defense (army, air force, navy).
