Celebrations-- In math, the amount of green in 4-5 as opposed to the amount of green in 3-4 shows incredible growth.

We love that we're in the business of growth instead of just focusing on the pass/fail aspect of the test.

We can see some students that Luz had in 2nd grade that have shown continuous growth. The lower grades begin the foundations!

Pauses-- What things are happening for certain students that aren't necessarily working for others in the same level? What more can we do for those outliers?

Actions-- Communicate to the students that we are more interested in their growth than their pass/fail part of the test and it may relieve some serious testing anxiety with some of our babies.

Celebrations: Students can focus on growing instead of passing. Celebrate growth!

Pauses: Even though we know students are learning, why are they not meeting their expected growth? What can we do differently?

Actions: Start with building growth mindset in students and teachers. Give students time to process content and meet them where they are at.
