This is useful for formative assessment and for students to self-assess. In class, you receive immediate feedback about how many students got the question right or wrong and what the majority of students chose as the answer - this can lead to immediate reteaching opportunities to remediate mistakes.

The program allows math students to work at their own pace, and the teacher can monitor the time students spend, and the percentage of the class that has completed each topic, so summative assessments can be based off of the topics all students have completed or the topics all students are "ready to learn" according to the program or the topics all students have attempted. You can also give tests and quizzes on the website.
