That is, it first became popular in Europe, then came to America and became super famous.

The Apple Pie is one of the symbols of American cuisine, indispensable on Thanksgiving.
The pie was already produced in England, before the Pilgrims brought the first apple seeds to North América.
The United States eventually became one of the largest fruit producers in the world, partly because of one of its heroes, Johnny Appleseed, whose legend mixes historical facts with folklore. His stories made the Apple Pie a traditional American dish.
Legend has it that while Appleseed walked barefoot on the ground, he threw apple seeds on the ground wherever he went. The truth is that, starting at age 25 until his death at age 71 in 1845, the eccentric hero traveled thousands of miles planting apple trees and starting nurseries for apple trees.

The brownie is one of the most traditional sweets in the United States. He has already won the world and is very successful in Brazil. A common theory about his invention is that the cooks forgot to add yeast or flour in their preparation. Another famous theory for the creation of this typical dish of the United States is that a housewife forgot to add the baking powder, baked and only then realized that the cake did not grow, but served anyway and everyone loved it.
