         <description><![CDATA[<div>Humanistic learning in schools is described as schools producing students who want to learn and know how to learn.  Learning should be self-directed and students will be motivated to learn a subject if they know it's something they need and want to know about it.  Humanistic educators believe that students' feelings should be involved in the learning process as well as knowledge.  Lastly, humanistic learning allows students to feel secure by learning in a nonthreatening environment.  This environment allows the student to learn easier and learning becomes more meaningful.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The nature and purpose of evaluation is to see if the curriculum currently used should be changed or accepted using data gathered by evaluators.  Curriculum evaluation is not only performed at the end of the school year, but also during the course of the school year while implementing and developing a program.  Curriculum evaluators are mainly concerned with the fact that the program is producing the desired effect or goals during the evaluation process. </div>]]></description>

Being fair to hold exceptional children to the same standard as regular education students. <br>2.  Being fair to gifted students-Judging the performance and grades of these students in contrast to regular education students.  <br>3.  Certain test items produce different results among students from different groups (inner-city students vs. rural students). <br>4.  Being sensitive to ethnic and racial bias.  <br>5. Being aware of the environment the evaluation is being conducted in.  </div>]]></description>
