Camouflage is the act of a animal blending in with their environment. Camouflage is used to hide from predators or to sneak up on prey. In order to survive and produce offspring, organisms must hide from predators and gather food. Social benefits can help organisms adapt easier and become more fit in the environment.  According to biologyrefrence.com it says, "It is believed that social behavior evolved because it was beneficial to those who engaged in it" This quote shows that animals engage in it because it is beneficial.
