She lived most of her life in Amsterdam Netherlands when the Nazis gained control over Germany. She wrote a diary about the days she passed in the 2nd world war. She died at February or March 1945 (probably of typhus).Otto her father the only survivor of the Franks, returned to Amsterdam after the war to find that her diary had been saved by his secretary, and his efforts led to its publication in 1947. It was translated from its original Dutch version and first published in English in 1952 as The Diary of a Young Girl, and has since been translated into over 70 languages.
I have read the book but I hope some day I will vist her house in Amsterdam.
I agree with you Irini!

My favourite satue is the Easter Island that is located in the South Pacific, between Chile and Tahiti. The residents of Easter Island make statues largely (Moai).✔🎇O_O
Every Moai was made in the quarry. They used a strong volcanic stone that was the ultimate ingredients for the engraving and construction of the Moai.
It is one of the biggest mysteries why they made that kind of statues. Even the way that they are turned (all look in a direction).
When you see them in a row or individually, they give you the impression that something they wait of the sky or of the sea. 🤔
I like to see by myself that amazing islald and explor it!!!💞
Great!!

Ioanna Restemi, Amfikleia Junior High School, Greece

My favourite statue is 'The Kelpies'. These are two horses whose description changes according to history and tradition. The prevailing theory is that they have the strength and endurance of a hundred horses and that they probably have either white or black hair.
The "home" of these mythical creatures is the Lake (Loch) Coruisk. According to legend, to entice their victims, they appeared accordingly as women, men or ponies. The only way they could be recognized was by the algae in their hair.
There are several versions of the history of kelpies for this reason at some point in the future, I would like to visit Scotland and learn more about these two mythical creatures!
Very interesting!! I want to got o Scotland too! Christina Laiou
