Let’s understanding the hidden meaning behind this beautiful verse!

🌟 Man’s answerability to God is limited by the extent of his ability. If a man does not have the ability to do a certain thing, God will not take him to task for not having performed it. In the same way, if it is really beyond a man’s ability to abstain from something, God will not blame him for having failed to abstain from it. It should be noted here that man will not be the final judge as to whether he had the ability to do something or not. Such judgement will be made by God alone.

For those who are having a hard time right now, hang in there. You got this! Allah SWT knows that you can survive. Embrace all obstacle as a form of love, care and rizq from Allah SWT.

This is some manners that was discussed in my previous usrah session! :

1) The purity of intention in seeking knowledge solely for Allah SWT.

2) Respect our educators.

3) Recite du’aa for asking ease before getting into the study material helps to concentrate on the particular subject

4) Approach new information with an open mind. Be willing to consider different perspectives and be flexible in your understanding.

5) Being on time and well-prepared (discipline).

6) Be kind and compassionate to our classmates.

7) Avoid bad-mouthing anyone.

8) Pay attention to our teachers and actively participate in class discussions and activities.

1) Creates a positive atmosphere where people are more willing to help and share their knowledge.

2) Avoid misunderstandings between the students and teacher.

3) Respectful behavior helps build trust between you and those you seek knowledge from.

4) Helps student to develop interpersonal skills.

5) Establish a culture of mutual support and collaboration.

6) Fulfills religious obligations.

7) Enhances respect towards the knowledge and taqwa in Allah SWT.

📌 IMAN : Iman is believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers and all the scriptures which He sent down before. Person reaching Iman believes only Allah capable of doing anything He wants to do.

📌 IHSAAN : Ihsan is the highest status of religion Islam. Muslim is responsible to uphold a good manners in everything he do. We can say that Ihsan means a Muslim is sure that Allah is seeing him/her in everything he/she says or does in his life. So, a Muslim does his best to say and do only what pleases Allah Almighty.

Emphasizes the oneness of Allah, recognizing Him as the sole creator, sustainer, and ruler of the universe. It also includes belief in His attributes and names.

• Importance: Fosters a sense of accountability and purpose. It encourages Muslims to seek guidance from Him in all aspects of life.

🕯️Believe in Malaikat

Muslims believe in the existence of angels created by Allah from light. They serve in delivering revelations recording human deeds, and guarding individuals.

• Importance: Reinforces the understanding that the unseen world exists and that angels act as intermediaries between Allah and humanity. It instills a sense of spiritual awareness and responsibility.

📖 Believe in Divine Book

Muslims believe in the scriptures revealed by Allah, including the Taurat, Injil, Zabur, and the Qur'an, which is considered the final and complete revelation.

• Importance: This belief underscores the importance of guidance in life. The Qur'an, as the last scripture, is viewed as the ultimate source of moral and ethical direction for Muslims.

Muslims believe that Allah sent prophets to guide humanity, with Prophet Muhammad (AS) being the final messenger.

• Importance: Recognizing the prophets’ role fosters respect for their teachings and encourages Muslims to follow the example of the final prophet, Muhammad (AS), in their daily lives.

  
  

📌 Belief in the Day of Judgment (Yawm al-Qiyamah)

Emphasizes the belief that all individuals will be resurrected and held accountable for their actions in this life. It includes the concepts of heaven (Jannah) and hell (Jahannam).

• Importance: Belief in the Day of Judgment instills a sense of responsibility and muhasabah. It motivates Muslims to lead a righteous life, knowing they will be accountable for their deeds.

📌 Believe in Divine Decree (Qada’ & Qadar)

Belief in Allah's preordained plan for the universe, including all events and outcomes. It teaches that Allah has knowledge of everything that happens.

• Importance: Understanding Qadar helps Muslims find peace in adversity, as it fosters trust in Allah’s wisdom and a sense of surrender to His will. It encourages gratitude during good times and patience during challenges.

Nuh (as) had been calling his people to the truth for an indefatigable 950 years, remaining patient when he was mocked and tormented.

⛵️Call to Prophethood: Nuh was chosen by Allah to guide his people, who had fallen into idolatry and sin. He preached for many years, urging them to abandon their false gods and return to the worship of the One true God.

⛵️Rejection: Despite his efforts, most of the people rejected his message and mocked him. They were entrenched in their ways and did not heed his warnings about impending punishment.

⛵️Divine Command: Allah instructed Nuh to build an ark in preparation for a great flood that would cleanse the earth of its wickedness. Nuh obediently followed the command, despite the disbelief of his community.

⛵️Construction of the Ark: Nuh began to build the ark, facing ridicule and scorn from those around him. However, he remained steadfast, focusing on his divine mission.

⛵️Gathering of the Believers: As the flood approached, Nuh gathered his family and pairs of every animal as instructed by Allah. Only a small number of believers joined him on the ark.

⛵️The Great Flood: When the floodwaters came, they engulfed the land. The ark became a sanctuary for Nuh, his family, and the chosen animals, while those who rejected his message were swept away.

⛵️After the Flood: Once the flood receded, the ark came to rest on Mount Judi. Nuh and his followers emerged to repopulate the earth, reaffirming their faith in Allah.

🪵Obedience to God: Nuh followed Allah’s commands without hesitation, illustrating the importance of obedience and trust in divine wisdom, even when circumstances seem dire.

🪵Hope in Despair: Even when the situation seemed hopeless, Nuh maintained hope for the salvation of his followers. His example encourages us to find strength and hope, even in the darkest times.

🪵Strength in Purpose: Nuh’s mission was clear, and he focused on it relentlessly. This underscores the power of having a clear purpose, which can sustain us through challenges and motivate us to keep moving forward.

🪵Divine Mercy and Justice: The story reflects God's mercy for the believers and His justice against the unrepentant. It teaches that while Allah is merciful, there are consequences for wrongdoing.

🔎 ESCHATOLOGY: Beliefs about the Day of Judgment, resurrection, heaven, and hell.

📌 FEATURES OF AL-MUHSIN (IHSAN)

Al-Muhsin is derived from the word ‘Ahsana’ (did good)

🕯️Generous, one who does good actions to others

(Surah As-Saffat ; Verse 79-80)

🕯️Quality of the good deeds

🕯️All intentions and action because of Allah SWT

(Surah Hud ; Verse 29)

📌 CONCEPT OF ESCHATOLOGY IN ISLAM

It highlights accountability for one's deeds and the ultimate fate of souls based on their actions in this life. Key themes include:

• Resurrection: Belief in the resurrection of the dead.

• Judgment: Each individual will be judged by God based on their faith and actions.

• Reward and Punishment: Good deeds lead to reward in Paradise, while wrongdoing may lead to punishment in Hell.

🖇️ RELATION BETWEEN IHSAAN AND ESCHATOLOGY

🍁 Accountability: Ihsan encourages Muslims to strive for moral excellence, knowing they will be held accountable for their actions. This awareness shapes behavior, promoting good deeds that align with Islamic teachings.

🍁 Purpose of Life : Understanding eschatological beliefs provides Muslims with a sense of purpose. By embodying ihsan, they aim not only for personal spiritual growth but also for favorable judgment after death.

🍁 Spiritual : Ihsan involves a deep consciousness of God, which can motivate believers to live righteously in anticipation of the afterlife. This connection between living well and the eschatological outcome reinforces ethical living.

ADAB TOWARDS PARENTS 👳🏻‍♂️🧕🏻

• Respect and Obedience: Treat our parents with kindness and obey them within reasonable boundaries.

• Gratitude: Always express gratitude for their sacrifices and support.

• Gentle Speech: Speak to them with kindness and avoid harsh words or tones.

Example : SURAH MARYAM : VERSE 43

"O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to a straight path."

In these verses, Prophet Ibrahim addresses his father with a tone of respect and concern, highlighting his desire to guide him toward the truth without resorting to harshness due to the respect towards his father.

ADAB TOWARDS NEIGHBOURS 🏘️

• Kindness: Offer help and support when needed.

• Privacy and Respect: Respect their privacy and property. Avoid intruding unless invited.

• Good Manners: Greet them warmly and maintain friendly interactions.

• Consideration: Be mindful of noise and disturbances, especially during late hours.

ADAB TOWARDS SOCIETIES 🔧⚙️

• Contribution: Actively participate in community programmes.

• Upholding Fairness: Treat everyone with justice, regardless of their background, and stand against injustice.

• Inclusivity: Foster an inclusive and forging understanding among different groups.

• Right: Be a good leader in voicing out any problem and issues that the communities may face.

ADAB AS A STUDENTS 📚🏫

• Show gratitude to classmates who assist us in our studies.

• Follow prescribed rules & regulation like dress codes and maintain a neat appearance.

• Work cooperatively during group activities and respect diverse viewpoints.

• Arrive on time for classes and submit assignments as scheduled.

AKHLAK : Application of adab

ADAB : Etiquette and good manners.

About our external behavior and social interactions that reflect a person’s upbringing and respect for others.

• Application:
  Adab is surrounded by various behaviors, including verbal and nonverbal communication, dress, and actions. It is a way of expressing respect for others and establishing good relationships.

AKHLAK : Inner qualities

For instance; Sincerity, mercy, patience, and discipline.

• It defines our character and moral disposition more broadly. Akhlaq helps us distinguish right from wrong and empathize with others.

• It’s not just about being good but also about striving to do good deeds and avoid evil ones.

• Spiritual Growth

Engaging in discussions about islamic teachings really enhance my spirituality as all session came out with different topics. It helps me to understand Islam better and also enhance my knowledge about Allah's law, Maqasid Syariah and appreciate the connection between my faith and the natural world.

• Community Connection

Alhamdulillah. I have the opportunity to connect with fellow usrah members that are from other study programmes! It feel so great to have them in my Usrah class (Class 35!) as most of them are very helpful, cheerful and friendly.

• Reflective Discussion

After sharing session from Naqibah, we will have a summary session in which everyone will share their thoughts about the topic. Participating in discussions really encourage personal reflection on my role as a vicegerent of the earth and also as a students. Prompting to what I can contribute in any aspect and also what I gained from the sharing input.

WHY WE CHOSE THIS TOPIC?

• Many people are unaware of the environmental issues we face, such as climate change, habitat destruction, and pollution.

• Raising awareness by creating a poster helps educate the students about these problems and the importance of sustainable practices.

  
  

• From an Islamic perspective, caring for nature is deeply rooted in religious teachings and principles.

• By emphasizing stewardship, respect for creation, and sustainability, Islam calls on its followers to actively engage in protecting and nurturing the environment as a fundamental aspect of their faith.

• As His vicegerent, we decided to play our role to spread awareness to everyone by creating this fun and bright poster that will help the reader to develop better understanding regarding nature.
