The school where I work is the best in the world. It makes the old saying ‘Do what you love and you won't work a day’ real :) We currently have 271 students from 3 to 15 years old. I am Alexia Chatzispyroglou, an English Literature Teacher at Aristotelio College High School in Thessaloniki, Greece. I am thrilled to be a part of the e-Twinning project SUSTAINABLE: Sparking Understanding of SDGs Through AI and Novel Approaches in Balanced Learning Environments. As a passionate advocate for innovation in education and a Skills' Educator, I strive to integrate digital competences and multidisciplinary collaboration into my teaching, fostering environments where students grow not only academically but also personally.

In this AI-driven era, my students are eager to explore how emerging technologies can be harnessed for real-world problem-solving, particularly in the context of sustainability and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They are enthusiastic, ICT-literate, and love applying English in meaningful global contexts.

I look forward to working with all of you in this exciting project, where together, we’ll explore the intersection of innovative learning methodologies—such as Project-Based Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Flipped Classroom—and cutting-edge digital tools, all in the service of nurturing students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Our goal is not only to enhance digital literacy but also to inspire global citizenship and meaningful action towards a sustainable future.

As Peter Drucker once said, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” Together, we will create that future by blending technology, collaboration, and creativity to make a lasting impact on our students and our world!

I am an elementary school teacher and have worked in public schools since 1998. I really enjoy engaging with my students with innovative programs that give us new knowledge and ideas about sustainability for the students who are future citizens. My first contact with eTwinning was in 2011. Since then I participated in several projects again since 2021 till today. I am very honored to participate in this project this year and I wish we all have good cooperation and support between us.
