Also described as the first impression for people, without getting to know them.

Good?...or Bad?...
Whats considered to some people as a bad label can be something totally different to another person. Each persons perspective and expectations are different from one another, just like each persons personality or style. 
 
There are plenty of divided groups in high schools. Separating the nerds, jocks,  the fabulous girls, and the outcasts and 'loners'.
