In this book the author S.E. Hinton used very good information from the 1960s. from all the dress styles and fashion to the pretty nice old cars. This book went very in depth of the gang dress styles and slayings. In the outsiders i also really liked how they brought in old bands and showed them in the book for a example the beetles a very famous band from the 1960s. i really liked the way the history was shown so well in the book by using a ford mustang which i thought was very interesting especially made around the 1960s. in this book i think S.E.
