Football Games- August/October

I went to most of the home football games with my friends, Carely and Melonie. Our team lost all the games we attended, so it was very disappointing. Before the games, we usually met up somewhere or went home together after school to get ready and finish some work. We went to the first home game together and took a memorable picture with the mascot. We felt that going to the first and last football games was what most everyone was attending. That thought prevented me from going to other games with more friends. We tended to have such a great time that we often forgot about our phones. At one of the football games, my friend Allyssa and I made a TikTok together, and they were serving Canes that day, which was good. I saw one of my friends who had moved schools; we spent time together and caught up with each other. Another nice football game was the homecoming game. I had fun with all my friends there and then went to get food afterward. Most of the time, we usually just ordered food up the hill, but the night was already coming to an end, and we did not want to waste more money dashing to get it.

Quinces- March/June

I went to my first two quinces in 2024. My friend from 3rd grade invited me to her quince during March. I saw one of our other friends who also went to our elementary. We all caught up with each other, had fun, and danced. She had good food at the quince it was pollo, beans, rice, and served with tortilla. My other friend from 8th grade invited me to her quince during June. Which was fun as well, there were people from my middle school, great food, and a dessert bar, and we took group photos. There was a pretty bathroom with nice mirrors and I took some pictures in there. Then a dance happened and we all danced in a group that was fun to do. These were the first quinces I ever went to and I hope I can go to some more because they are beautiful and fun.

Watched my little brother's soccer games.- April/May

My 6-year-old little brother has a big passion for soccer. His inspiration was Christiano Ronaldo and started watching YouTube videos about soccer and saw other soccer players like Messi but his favorite is Christiano Ronaldo which is all he talks about. He says he wants to be as good as him. We started off by buying him a soccer setup for our backyard and he would play/ practice back there every day. My other brother and I would play with him too but my brothers would mostly practice with him and teach him new things about soccer. He is so passionate about soccer that he would even try and do new things himself during his free time. My parents found out that they had a soccer league going on for a season so they paid and put him in it. In October my dad saw a Ronaldo outfit so he surprised my little brother with it and he wore it as a costume for Halloween. He loves it so much so when it starts up again he will continue to play. I hope he continues his journey with soccer or if not finds something else he loves to do.

Jhene Aiko Concert- July

On July 31st Jhene Aiko had a concert in LA my mom bought the tickets early and surprised me with them as an early birthday present. First, we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant the food was okay. It had a flower wall as you can see in the picture it was very pretty. Then we drove to where the concert was held, we could find parking and thought we had to park a few blocks away but then we saw a person and they told us where to go. We are waiting in line then they finally open the doors to go inside. This was my first concert ever so I didn't know how it was going to go. The inside was so big and there were so many seats/people. We got to our seats and met these two beautiful sisters one of them was there for her first concert too for her 18th birthday. They were so fun to be around we took videos/pictures and even gave each other Instagrams. She played some nice songs but one song I wanted to hear was not played which was Bed Peace I think. Overall the concert was very fun and nice and I appreciate my mom for taking me.

Moving houses- December

My family chose to sell our house after owning it for 39 years. They had from December 20th, 1987 to December 27th, 2024. We chose to take the inheritance to buy a new home. They are currently searching for new homes in the Hesperia/Victorville area. Before we moved we had a lot of family living in that same house together in Diamond Bar. We had to share some rooms and even had an extra space in the house turned into a room. For about 8 years I had to share a room. There are a lot of memories there and they will be missed but now we can make new memories and have new experiences in another place. My mom got a new home for us to live in and we won't be living with all our family members. I now have my own room and bathroom. I decorated them the way I wanted and we are going to continue to make lots of great memories!!!
