Go to the nearest area near you that is in nature. Whether it be a grove of trees, a pond or a creek, anywhere where you cannot be distracted. Take some time to quite your mind, and just listen. Listen to the birds, the wind, the insects. Block out all though and just let nature and the wonder of the universe flow through you. Think again about what was bothering you and it will seem inconsequential, and unimportant. Go on with life, and live it to the fullest. This activity is linked to the Creative Spiritual Gateway, in that comfort is drawn from nature, bush etc. and that the wonders of the world are an aid to your spiritual journey.

Write a story and let your feelings out in the writing. Let creativity flow and get your anger/frustration out in your words. 

On the other hand, why not read someone else's story? This works just the same, a good book from one of your favourite authors can also help to calm you down.

This activity is linked to the creative and contemplative gateway. Creative story writing gets you mind free and flowing, and when you read others good books, you contemplate their meaning in your own life and spiritual journey.
